Arboretum: Variety

As I continued to walk around the Arboretum a variety of plants caught my attention. I went from one interesting flower to another until I finally looked up and realized I had no idea where I was in relation to my car. Eventually though I was able to find my way back and the shots I was able to get made it totally worth the couple of seconds of fear and confusion.

Arboretum: Dancers

There's a lot going on in my life right now and not a lot of time to process, so I decided to get away for an hour and visit the Arboretum. Nature has a way of calming me and being able to observe and photograph the tiny details with in it has a way of comforting me. So off I went, with my macro lens in hand and only about two hours left of sunlight.

The first type of flowers to catch my eye were these beautiful pink and yellow ones. They reminded me of ballerinas...ok maybe not the claw like things on top, but definitely the pink petals.
