Chicago Tulips

Being a Photographer is part of me. It's a part of me I love and yet can get in the way sometimes, especially when you only have two days in Chicago and are trying to spend as much time with your graduating sister as possible. But did you know that tulips are in bloom in May?! They're beautiful! I am thankful for a sister who is patient enough to let me stop and shoot the tulips and in the midst of a chaotic weekend here's some of what I saw.

Colette

I had a great time at one of my favorite beaches with Colette.  Thank you Colette for being adventurous with me and willing to climb on rocks and walk through water to get these shots. I wish you the best of luck with the new college adventures that await you.

C, J & Family

It's hard to believe that I have been friends with Chris for nearly 22 years now. He and his beautiful wife are some of my longest friendships and so it was an honor to catch some wonderful moments with his family. It's crazy to look through my camera and see the face of Chris's little boy and realize we were close to the same age when we met. I can see so much of both parents in the faces of their children and it was so much fun being able to do a session together. 

Talia

I recently had the honor of capturing some of Talia's last memories in high school and we had so much fun doing it! She is such a sweet and beautiful girl who loves the outdoors and sunshine, so we went to a great park and created some beautiful pictures. Thank you so much Talia! You were such a joy to work with :)
